At the core of the pad is the updated 4-Point EKG Deflection System, engineered to improve ball deflection and help redirect shots away from the chest area. The integrated External Kardiac Guard (EKG) meets the NOCSAE Performance Standard ND200, helping address the risk of commotio cordis and making this chest pad suitable for league and age-group compliance where EKG protection is required.
Fit and comfort are addressed through elastic side straps that keep the pad secure during movement, combined with an adjustable back strap that allows goalies to fine-tune the fit to their body. The QuickDry liner wicks moisture away from the skin to help keep goalies cool and dry during practices and games, even in high-intensity situations.
